The Counselor in Training program is designed to provide youths too old to attend summer camp but too young for employment with an opportunity to develop leadership skills to broaden their understanding of what it means to take on a more responsible role in a camp setting. The C.I.T. summer program is an educational program that exposes those enrolled to the responsibilities of summer camp staff.

To be part of the Counselor in Training program it takes commitment and maturity. This program has demands but it also has many rewards. The entire summer camp staff will be there to help and guide you, but you need to be a mature young adult when it comes to the program.
